Manchester City | Grealish father reveals: That’s how high the party bill was

The pictures of the celebrating stars of treble winners Manchester City went around the world last Monday. Since winning the Champions League on Sunday night, the Sky Blues have been celebrating a wild party that culminated on Monday at the reception at home in front of tens of thousands of City fans. National player Jack Grealish in particular was unstoppable.

Several pictures and videos of the 27-year-old went viral on social media, some of whom were very drunk and kept heating up the mood at the Cityzens. Already on site in the final stadium in Istanbul, Grealish gave the cheerleader for his team and kept his party mood going for almost two days.

His father Kevin Grealish has now revealed how much the drinks cost at ManCity’s lavish triple party at the end.

“I saw the drinks bill. £47,000,” Grealish senior told The Mirror. That’s the equivalent of almost 55,000 euros, which the club is said to have had “on the cover” at the end of its celebrations.

But Jack Grealish’s father clarified: “I have to say that it wasn’t just Jack’s drink bill. He even went home early that night.”

The festivities of the star ensemble are said to have lasted until eight o’clock on Tuesday morning. At this point, Grealish had probably been in bed for a long time.

Manchester City had celebrated the greatest success in the club’s history with their first ever triumph in the Champions League. The team of star coach Pep Guardiola had previously won the English Championship and the English FA Cup.

After two days of rest, many City stars, including Jack Grealish, left for their national teams before heading off on their well-deserved summer vacation.
