Manchester City before the next transfer coup

According to media reports, Manchester City is about to sign England international Kalvin Phillips.

The 23-year-old defensive midfielder is said to be under contract with Leeds United until the end of June 2024. According to the reports, Manchester City wants to transfer around 49 million euros plus possible bonus payments of 3.5 million euros.

Aston Villa, Newcastle United and West Ham United are also said to have been interested in Phillips, who would play at Champions City under manager Pep Guardiola with former BVB striker Erling Haaland. In return, 18-year-old Darko Gyabi is set to move from Manchester City to Leeds United, the reports said.
