Man who was shot at home in Eindhoven is out of danger

The 32-year-old Eindhoven resident who was shot Friday night at a house on the Titanpad in Eindhoven is out of danger. A police spokeswoman said this on Sunday afternoon. The man’s condition was still “very critical” on Saturday.

The victim was visiting the house where he was shot at around a quarter past five. The victim was taken to hospital with multiple gunshot wounds.

‘Our research doesn’t stop’
The perpetrators fled, but around a quarter past six on Saturday morning, the police were able to arrest two suspects on the President Steynstraat in Eindhoven. It concerns a 26-year-old man from Eindhoven and a 23-year-old man from Veldhoven. They were taken to a police station.

“But our investigation does not stop here,” the police spokeswoman emphasized on Saturday. The police hope that people who have seen something suspicious will report.

The street was closed off around the house where the two suspects were arrested. “Agents, wearing extra heavy body armor, were searching this house in the morning,” a 112 correspondent said Saturday morning. “In an alley next to the corner house there was something that looked like clothing. There was a pylon here.”

A car parked in front of this house was impounded.
