MIDDLEBURG – A 28-year-old man who shot his girlfriend in the head with a firearm in Middelburg was sentenced on Friday to 30 months in prison. According to the court, it has not been proven that Giovanni E. intentionally tried to shoot the woman, but he was “careless and inattentive” with a loaded gun.
