A man brutally robbed a sixteen-year-old girl in Hoorn of her bicycle last night. The perpetrator forced the girl to stop her bicycle, roughly tore the bicycle from her hands and then fled. The police are looking for witnesses.
Just before midnight, the girl cycled near the football club on Berkhouterweg, where an unknown man approached her and grabbed her bicycle, forcing her to stop.
He violently pulled the bicycle from her hands and fled towards the track. He left the girl shocked.
Search for perpetrators
Officers searched for the culprits, but were unsuccessful.
The police would like to contact witnesses. Especially with two men who helped the victim after the violent theft.
