A man (64) from Helmond was stabbed in his own apartment on Saturday evening. He is in hospital with serious injuries and is out of danger. A woman (49) has been arrested for the stabbing.
Around six o’clock in the evening, the report came in about an argument in the apartment on the Kluisstraat. The injured resident was taken to hospital in an ambulance.
Neighborhood and trace investigation
The police do not yet know exactly what happened. The motive for the stabbing is under investigation. Officers conducted extensive neighborhood and trace investigations in and near the house on Saturday evening.
The woman will be questioned on Sunday. The victim and any witnesses are also approached to tell what happened.
