A man was seriously injured in a shooting in the Rivierenbuurt this evening. The victim was resuscitated on the spot.
The shooting happened shortly after 7 p.m. in the area of Hunzestraat and Winterdijkstraat. Officers found the seriously injured victim in Kinderdijkstraat. He was resuscitated on the spot and then transferred to a hospital.
Via Burgernet, the police are looking for a man of about 25 years old in a black tracksuit. A police helicopter hangs overhead. Agents of the Special Interventions Service are also on site. Near the Lekstraat, several agents are currently looking for in the bushes.
