A man was rushed to hospital this evening after a house fire in the Emmer district of Noordbarge. The fire was raging at ‘t Oude Loo.
The fire is believed to have started at the top of the house. Several fire brigade vehicles came to extinguish the fire. An ambulance also came to the house. The victim was treated in the vehicle before being taken to hospital. He was accompanied by a boy, who was also in the house when the fire broke out.
It is not clear how the fire started.
