The male suspect of a perfume theft in Assen has reported to the police. A second suspect, a woman, is still missing. A week ago, the police had shared images of the duo.
The man and woman are suspected of stealing luxury perfumes from a store on Mercuriusplein. The pair allegedly stole hundreds of euros worth of perfumes on Saturday, November 4.
According to the police, images show the man and woman entering the store together. The man is holding two plastic bags and wearing a large coat. Several bottles of perfume disappear into both the bags and the jacket.
The company that reported the theft strongly suspects that the suspects are also responsible for a similar crime at their branch in Amersfoort.
