Employees of a consultancy in Waalwijk were surprised. They saw on camera footage that a man had defecated right in front of their office door on Saturday.
“Our cleaner discovered hope last Saturday,” says Mrs. Alkan of the company on Tuesday morning in the radio program Wakker. “It looked very dirty and we already thought it couldn’t be from an animal. Then we went back to look at the camera images.”
The images show that a man walked a few meters to the front door to relieve himself in the corner. And that while there is a large green strip opposite the office and, a little further, a large parking lot.
Miss Alkan doesn’t know who it is either. “It wasn’t a bum. It was just someone in dire need, who didn’t have a toilet nearby for a while. Opposite are trees, shrubs, a lawn. So you would say, if you really need to, you do it there. But no.”
