Police officers arrested a man in Friedrichshain on Saturday afternoon who is said to have attacked several women and a delivery service cyclist.

According to the police, the 29-year-old is said to have urinated on a woman’s legs around 1.45 p.m. on Boxhagener Platz. He is said to have grabbed another woman’s chest a little later on Gärtnerstrasse and kicked her in the stomach.

At the corner of Gärtnerstrasse and Grünbergerstrasse, the man is said to have hit two women in the neck and on the back of the head.

According to the police, several witnesses observed the crimes.

Shortly before that he is said to have hit a delivery service cyclist off his bike. The cyclist fell.

Alarmed police officers then arrested the 29-year-old man at the corner of Gärtnerstrasse and Boxhagener Strasse. He resisted arrest and had to be brought to the ground. The man sustained a laceration to his head, which was treated at a hospital.

The attacker was admitted to a clinic by a doctor. The man may have consumed drugs and alcohol and came to have blood drawn.

The first two women affected were clearly under the impression of what was happening, but according to the police they did not initially need medical treatment.
