A man was seriously injured on Tuesday evening when he got stuck between a truck and a loading platform in Oss, an officer on site reported. The man was taken to hospital by ambulance. An air ambulance arrived on the scene. The doctor from the trauma helicopter went with the man in the ambulance.
The truck was parked at a loading platform of a logistics transport company in Oss. The man ended up between the trailer of the truck and the person. A loading dock is the place where a truck can load and unload.
The duty officer does not know how serious the injuries are, but speaks of a serious industrial accident. The man was approachable.
Labor Inspectorate
It is not known whether the victim is an employee of the logistics transport company or whether it is a driver from an external company. The police have notified the Labor Inspectorate, who are continuing to investigate the accident.
Police, ambulance and a trauma helicopter came to the scene to provide assistance.
