At a tram stop on Torstrasse, a man was hit by a tram and seriously injured.
The accident occurred at a stop on Torstrasse in Berlin-Mitte at around 8:30 p.m. The man was hit by a moving tram and pushed under the train.
The fire department was finally able to free the man. He was treated on site by the emergency doctor and then taken to hospital with serious injuries. The tram driver also had to be taken to a clinic.
How exactly the accident happened is not yet known. Tram traffic had to be stopped and Torstrasse was closed in the direction of Schönhauser Allee.
