Man has to pay 30,000 euros for empty house with which he helped people

The man once rented out his house to help people. But in order to get social housing more quickly, the residents called in the Housing Inspectorate. It found many violations.

The owner paid a hefty fine and therefore had to modify or demolish the house. But he didn’t want that because he needs the house until his new building is finished. Nevertheless, the judge now decides that he still has to pay a penalty of 30,000 euros.

His lawyer also initiated civil proceedings for disproportionate measure. We are still waiting for that verdict.
