An elderly man ended up in a dry ditch on Oosteinderlaan in Leutingewolde this afternoon.
An ambulance and fire truck rushed to the scene. The man was examined at the scene by ambulance personnel and taken to hospital.
It is still unknown how the man ended up in the ditch.
