Man drives on the A2 with a laughing gas balloon on his mouth

A striking arrest on the A2 near Best. On Wednesday, officers found no fewer than 31 cylinders full of laughing gas in a car. The driver has been arrested for driving under the influence and transporting dangerous goods.

An observant motorist saw the man driving on the A2, thought he might be under the influence and called 112. Officers saw the car pass by Best. At the time, the man had a laughing gas balloon on his mouth.

The driver was pulled over. It soon became apparent that he was clearly under the influence. When checking the car, the officers discovered the remarkable loot of several dozen nitrous oxide cylinders. They have all been confiscated.

Driver’s license confiscated
The driver was therefore arrested for driving under the influence and because he had a dangerous substance with the laughing gas. His driver’s license has also been confiscated.
