When the man realized this, he fled, jumped or fell and landed three floors lower on the ground.
He was then taken to hospital where he died, police said. The incident took place on Tuesday afternoon around a house at De Heugden in Heerlen. According to the police, the arrest team was called in as part of what is called “an ongoing investigation.”
Police would not say what the man was suspected of.
