A cyclist was seriously injured in a collision with a train in Dorst. The man allowed a train to pass, but then cycled between the railway barriers and was hit by a second train, coming from the other side.
The accident happened around a quarter to nine at the crossing on Spoorstraat, in the middle of Dorst. The condition of the man is not known. It is unclear whether he was hit by the train or whether only his bicycle was hit.
The victim was rushed to hospital.
Train traffic is still blocked until 11:30 p.m., the NS reports.
