Man confesses to murder of Ostend woman
When the police found the body along a road in Koewacht, it soon became clear that the 64-year-old woman from Ostend had been violently killed.

A 33-year-old man was soon arrested in Germany. According to the prosecutor’s office, the two would have had a relationship. The man was extradited to our country in May, but remained silent in all languages.
Only last week he confessed that he strangled her at her home and left the body in Koewacht. Nothing is known about his motive.
