A man was arrested on Friday evening after a mad ride in Eindhoven. The driver of the Belgian car slammed on the accelerator after ignoring a police stop sign.
The man drove “like crazy through the city,” says a 112 correspondent. The car hit other road users along the way. The madness came to an end on the Leenderweg.
Flight on foot
The man got out of the car and ran away. The man was tracked down with the help of a police dog. The man was found in a bush. He did not cooperate during the arrest and was ‘brought to and fro’ by one of the police dogs.
The man has been arrested and is suspected of theft and receiving stolen goods.
