Incredible attack on Saturday evening in Friedrichsfelde. There, a man attacked his pregnant ex and her partner.
As the police announced on Sunday, the 37-year-old is said to have destroyed his ex-wife’s (30) terrace door with a hammer at around 8:15 p.m. and thus gained access to the apartment in Rosenfelder Ring. Then the man is said to have threatened the woman and her partner (36).
The couple fled the apartment, but the attacker was able to catch up with his ex in the hallway. He pulled her to the ground and repeatedly hit her head and stomach with the hammer, police said.
The woman, together with another resident of the house, managed to snatch the hammer from the man. The attacker then fled the house in the direction of a green area. There he was caught by the police – arrest!
The pregnant woman suffered minor injuries to her arms, legs and stomach in the attack and had to be treated as an outpatient in a hospital.
The suspect injured himself when the patio door was smashed in and was also treated on an outpatient basis in a clinic. Police forces then took him to police custody for a blood draw. The suspicion: drug influence. After the conclusion of the police measures, he was released again.
He is now being investigated for dangerous bodily harm, attempted abortion, property damage and trespassing.
