A 28-year-old man from Hoogeveen was injured in an assault at the asylum seekers’ center on Kinholtsweg in Hoogeveen last night. The police were called because of a stabbing, but it turned out not to be the case.
The man was treated at the scene for his injuries and did not require hospitalization.
A 36-year-old man, also from Hoogeveen, has been arrested as a suspect in the assault. The police are investigating what exactly happened.
