The police arrested a man in a house at Van Swinderenhof in Assen this evening. The fire brigade received a report that the house was full of gas.
Upon arrival, the man shouted from the balcony for the police to leave him alone. Officers entered the home and arrested the man.
A number of homes were evacuated as a precaution, measurements by the fire brigade showed that there was indeed gas in the home.
Enexis employees have been called to solve the problem.
