Man arrested for driving with drugs on and without a driver’s license

A 28-year-old man from Klazienaveen was arrested last night in Erica, because he was caught for the third time in a short time while driving under the influence of drugs. The man was put aside by police officers around half past three for a check on the Verlengde Vaart Zuidzijde in Erica. He passed out after a drug test.

The officers seized the Klazienavener’s car and took him to the police station. The man’s car turned out to be uninsured and the officers soon found out that the man’s driver’s license had previously been declared invalid. So he shouldn’t have been allowed to drive at all.

The Klazienavener became angry after his arrest and destroyed the police station in Emmen. The man was then transferred to the detention center in Assen. This is reported by the Emmen police on Facebook. It is unknown what he destroyed.
