Man arrested for directing suspects in the murder of Peter R. de Vries NOW

The man suspected of remotely directing the executors of the murder of Peter R. de Vries was arrested on Monday. A spokesperson for the Public Prosecution Service (OM) confirms this after reporting by The Parool† According to the newspaper, it concerns Krystian M., who is already detained for an attempted murder in Zeewolde in October 2021.

The man of Polish nationality is also suspected of being part of the criminal organization surrounding Anouar T., Ridouan T’s cousin.

The justice system suspects that M. is the so-called NN-4229, who communicated via a telephone in both Polish and Dutch with Delano G. and Kamil E. The device was found in the car in which G. and E. were sitting. when they were arrested for shooting De Vries on July 6 last year.

The crime journalist was fatally wounded when he returned from the RTL Boulevard studio in the Lange Leidsedwarsstraat in Amsterdam. When De Vries arrived at the garage, he was shot from behind. He died on July 15 from his injuries.

The suspected shooter G. and driver and ‘spotter’ E. have been demanded life sentences. A verdict in that criminal case will be handed down on 14 July. Meanwhile, the investigation into the principals for the murder continued.
