Man arrested for destroying twenty cars in Ter Apel
Last night, the police arrested a 32-year-old man without a permanent home or residence for vandalizing several cars in Ter Apel. At least 20 cars were damaged, police said.
Around 1.30 am, the police received a report that someone was smashing the car windows of several cars, near the Heemker Akkerstraat. The suspect was arrested on Main Quay, a short distance away. He is incarcerated and being interrogated.
Police are looking at CCTV footage and are asking witnesses to come forward.
