The police arrested a man on Wednesday evening who may be involved in the death of a woman in Uden. The 41-year-old victim lived on the Nonnenveld and was found earlier in the day in her home by the neighbor.
“The man has been detained at the station for questioning, our investigation continues,” the police said in a message on social media. It is not yet clear how the victim died. In any case, the police do not assume a natural cause of death.
The neighbor had been warned by someone who thought it was strange that the door was not opened. When the visitor and a neighbor climbed over the fence and entered the house, they found the dead woman.
The deceased woman lived alone in the house on the Nonnenveld. She had just moved into her home, local residents said.
