A man and a woman on a scooter were seriously injured on Sunday night in a collision on Beerseweg in Diessen. They were hit by a motorist at Schutweg. This happened around a quarter past twelve.
The motorist probably overlooked the duo when turning onto Schutweg. The man and woman then ended up in a dry ditch. They were rushed to a hospital. Due to the seriousness of the situation, a trauma helicopter came to Beerseweg, among other things.
Road closure
Due to the accident, Beerseweg near Schutweg was closed to traffic for a while. The police are investigating the collision.
