The man accused of rape by Maxime Meiland initially demands almost 90,000 euros from the reality star. He says he has lost months of income due to the allegations.
The now 28-year-old man is said to have abused Maxime in the more distant past. She talks about this in her biography Maxime abused, derailed and now… happy. It states that she was raped at the age of 15 by a now 28-year-old man, whom she does not mention by name. That man was presented anonymously, but still became furious about it. He has hired lawyer Peter Schouten to demand a correction and to report defamation and slander.

The case will be heard in February at the request of the man mentioned by Maxime behind closed doors take place. However, he emphasizes that he can substantiate the damage suffered with documentary evidence.
Maxime Meiland did not respond for a while to the angry reactions of the man she accused of rape. But on Friday she stepped to the police to still report rape. A second victim is also said to have emerged and is willing to make a statement. Maxime’s opponent responded to that by reporting ‘filing a false declaration’.
