Fatal storm accident at the gates of Berlin!
A man (71) fell around 12 noon on Friday from a ladder he had leaned against a tree in the front yard of his home in Geltow (Potsdam-Mittelmark).
According to the police, he wanted to prune the tree. But he fell about five meters and died.
It is unclear whether he wanted to repair storm damage to the tree. The police have started an investigation into the incident.
