60-year-old Petrus L. from Eindhoven has to go into jail for three years because he stabbed a 14-year-old boy on the street last year. The court in Den Bosch determined that on Tuesday. The Eindhovenaar said he acted out of self -defense, after a fight with the boy. The court sees that differently.
At first it seemed that L. the boy stabbed the boy from nowhere at Genovevalaan in Woensel. During the substantive treatment of two weeks ago it turned out that there were images of a witness, which showed that something had indeed preceded it.
The boy drove his scooter on the sidewalk, Peter L. gesturing that he had to go on the cycle path, but according to him the teenager just drove on. An altercation arose, after which the man grabbed the boy by his neck and stabbed.
The suspect’s lawyer argued earlier that medically speaking it had not been demonstrated that he wanted to kill the boy. But during the treatment, a doctor explained that there was indeed powerful stitches that could result in death.
The knife went so deep that the boy was bleeding violently on the street. He was hit in his kidney and liver, lost Liters’s blood and was in the hospital for more than a week.
The boy has since recovered physically, but still has a lot of problems with what happened. “I am happy that the damage was limited,” said the suspect. “If necessary, I still wanted to give up my own kidney. Because this had never been the intention. I am still thinking every day, who am I? And how can I do something like that.”

The court found bad weather not proven and spoke of excessive violence. The judge did take the punishment that the man has ADHD so that he cannot properly check his impulses.
The judge imposed the man a prison sentence of three years for attempted manslaughter, his custody is still being removed. He gets a probationary period of two years. He must also be treated in an addiction clinic.
