Lousy attack on a wheelchair user in Mitte! A 41-year-old is said to have stolen from and then hit a 37-year-old wheelchair user on Monday afternoon.

As the police announced on Tuesday, the 37-year-old sold art around 2 p.m. on Am Zwirngraben street. He had placed a wooden box in front of him to insert money, which the 41-year-old looted in passing.

The wheelchair user then tried to hold on to the 41-year-old, but according to the police, he hit the 37-year-old’s head with his fists. When witnesses became aware of the scene, they intervened, grabbing the attacker and overpowering him. He is said to have hit a helper with a shoe.

The police arrested the man shortly thereafter. Nobody got hurt.
