A 41-year-old man from Pelt died in a diving accident on Sunday afternoon. This happened in the canal at the site of the Neerpeltse Watersportclub. The fire brigade of the emergency zone North Limburg was called around 4.30 p.m. for a rescue in the water. On site, a diver turned out to be in trouble.
