The district court sentenced him on Wednesday to four years in prison for extortion, fraud, bodily harm and coercion, among other things.
Klaus R.* (58) suspected nothing bad when a supposedly interested person got in touch and made an appointment with him for April 23, 2022. Until not a lady, but the accused stood in front of the apartment door: “I’m your driver, I want to see the location first,” he explained to the puzzled customer. Took the money and left. The escort lady stayed away.
Instead of her explanation, Klaus R. received a cell phone message the next day from an alleged husband who had violated his honor and was planning blood revenge.
Full of fear, the deceived paid 2000 euros. And again as much after he was also threatened with kidnapping.

“Not like that,” said Mohamad H., demanded a cancellation fee of 100 euros. Later another 250 euros in expenses. And finally 400 euros for a missing apology. Threatened with “people who are not so friendly” in case of non-payment.
The judge in her verdict: “Defendant, you are not making it easy for the court. They have been imprisoned for more than 10 years. You can’t always go in, out and in, out until you’re 80.”
Drug addiction, no apartment of your own, no work, but criminal offenses. A vicious circle. Previous attempts at therapy have always been unsuccessful. The judge: “Because you didn’t want it. Finally find your way off drugs.”
