A 35-year-old man was seriously injured in an assault in a house on Stationsweg in Meppel. An ambulance and trauma helicopter were called in to provide assistance to the Meppeler. He has been taken to hospital.
Police have arrested three suspects on suspicion of involvement in the assault. They are a 52-year-old man, a 41-year-old man and a 23-year-old man. All three suspects are from Meppel.
It is not yet clear what exactly happened in the house, according to police. Today, trace evidence is being done in the house.
