What a coincidence! The car owner (35) discovered the thieves at a Spandau gas station. The suspects were in the process of refueling another, also stolen, car. The police ended the stealing tour!

According to the police, the 35-year-old saw the two suspects, who had stolen his car just the day before, at around 2 p.m. on Sunday at the gas station on Spandauer Streitstraße. Packed with petrol cans, the duo ran to a van where an accomplice was already waiting.

The man called the police – they finally caught the trio (26, 32, 35) in Goldbeckweg. Arrest!

An alcohol test on the 35-year-old driver, who did not have a driver’s license, showed a value of over two per thousand. When the car was checked, it turned out that it had been stolen from Wittestrasse in Tegel at the end of May.

The whereabouts of the 35-year-old’s car, which was stolen from Schnepfenreuther Weg in Hakenfelde on Saturday, is still being determined.
