Two people from Bergen op Zoom were arrested Friday night for kidnapping and assaulting a 33-year-old man from Breda. Police suspect there may have been a relationship dispute.
The victim had gotten into the car with acquaintances in Breda. Together they drove to a house on Heiningen street in Bergen op Zoom. There the resident of Breda was taken hostage and mistreated.
Electric Shock Weapon
The victim eventually managed to raise the alarm. After that, around half past four, officers were able to arrest the suspects (40 and 41) just outside the house. A electroshock weapon was also seized.
