A 33-year-old man died on Sunday evening when his van collided with a parked trailer. That happened around midnight on the Vlagheide.
A trailer with a foreign license plate was parked in front of the Van Swaay timber trade in the outskirts of Schijndel. The driver of the van must have misjudged the situation in the dark and hit the unlit trailer.
The van collided with the left side against the trailer. The massively called emergency services could no longer do anything for the victim.
