The driver of a car was seriously injured in an accident in the tunnel on the Hondsrugweg in Emmen this morning. It concerns a 32-year-old man without a fixed place of residence or residence, the police report.
The driver was trapped and had to be freed by emergency services. The victim was then taken to a hospital.
The accident happened around 6am. No other cars were involved. Nothing is known about the cause yet.
