The man who was arrested on Monday afternoon in connection with a shooting incident in Arnhem is a thirty-year-old resident of Zoetermeer. This was announced by the police on Tuesday morning. De Zoetermeerder is suspected of attempted murder or manslaughter.
Shortly after the shooting, the police drove the suspect onto the A12 near Veenendaal and arrested him on the basis of a ‘clear description’. It is still unclear what exactly happened in Kinkelenburglaan in the Arnhem district of Presikhaaf. The investigation is still ongoing.
