A 30-year-old man from Valkenswaard was sentenced to six months in prison by the court in Den Bosch on Friday, because as a 15-year-old boy he raped a girl of 11 years old. He was then a minor, so the juvenile criminal law also applies to his sentence. He can do this in a prison for adults. He was already stuck because he raped two colleagues in 2020.
The victim, a woman of 26 years old, reported the rape in 2023. Before that she walked around for years. “Even fifteen years later, she still experiences the psychological consequences of the incident every day,” says Justice.
The victim confessed everything to her mother half a year after the abuse. She was in love with the 15-year-old suspect and met him in the woods between Valkenswaard and Dommelen.
