In Kreuzberg, a man (28) apparently arbitrarily attacked four people one after the other on Saturday evening.
► The first case: At around 9:30 p.m., the man on Wilhelmstrasse attacked a passer-by (41), hit him in the head and slightly injured him.
► Half an hour later, the man is said to have knocked down a 16-year-old in Großbeerenstrasse and stolen his money. The youngster suffered minor injuries and had to be treated on the spot as an outpatient.
► Around 11:45 p.m., the suspect is said to have pushed a pedestrian to the ground on Zossener Strasse.
► Shortly after midnight, the man attacked a 70-year-old on the corner of Großbeerenstrasse and Wartenburgstrasse. He is also said to have pushed him to the ground and choked him severely. Rescue workers took the injured senior to a hospital, where he was admitted to the hospital.
Alerted forces from police departments 52 and 53 searched the surrounding area and arrested the suspect in front of a museum. He is now being investigated for, among other things, attempted murder.
