Man (22) drives 104 kilometers too fast on the A59, the second time in a year

A 22-year-old man from Dongen drove more than 100 kilometers too fast on the A59 highway on Sunday morning. The police caught him on the Maasroute near Waalwijk. He then drove 204 kilometers per hour, where the speed limit is 100 kilometers per hour.

The motorist was ‘flashed’ around a quarter to eleven and was immediately pulled over. He had to immediately surrender his driver’s license. Justice will now determine how long the man may not get behind the wheel.

The police are not pleased with the road pirate’s action. “Talking about road safety… and a braking distance. Checks remain necessary.”

Second time at fault
It is not the first time that the young driver drove far too fast. The man also drove too fast once last year and his driver’s license was also taken away, the Zeeland West Brabant traffic police wrote in a message on X, the former Twitter.
