A 21-year-old man from Assen was injured by a stabbing in the Kerkstraat in Assen on the night of Friday to Saturday around 12:10 am. Police are still looking for the suspect on Saturday.
The victim was found injured around 1 a.m. in Kerkstraat, the police reported. ‘The man has been taken to hospital. Several police units immediately searched the area for the suspect.’
The police announced via Burgernet that they are looking for an approximately 18-year-old dark man with a red sweater and black pants. ‘Do not take any action yourself, but call 112.’
On Saturday afternoon, the police reported that a 20-year-old suspect from Beilen had been arrested.
