A 19-year-old first harassed passengers on the S1 line, then attacked a 19-year-old and stabbed an 18-year-old. He was arrested at the Friedenau S-Bahn station.

On Sunday morning at around 4.50 a.m., the dispute at the Schöneberg S-Bahn station began on the platform. A 19-year-old Lebanese provoked and insulted other passengers. This then continued on the S-Bahn.

The 19-year-old is said to have insulted a woman from a group of eight on the train. He is said to have tried to touch her.

When a 19-year-old Bulgarian then intervened, the Lebanese is said to have headbutted him. Then he pulled a knife out of his pocket.

Now an 18-year-old Serb from the group confronted the attacker. He suffered lacerations on his hand. He had to be treated in a clinic. A mobile phone and a jacket were damaged.

Everyone left the S-Bahn at the Friedenau S-Bahn station. The perpetrator had thrown the knife onto the tracks there, but was later seized by the federal police.

The alarmed officials were also able to arrest the stabber directly at the S-Bahn station. The suspect was found to have a blood alcohol level of 1.25.

The federal police are investigating dangerous bodily harm, threats, property damage and violation of the Weapons Act
