An 18-year-old man from Gilze was arrested around midnight on Thursday for allegedly shooting at Textielstraat in Tilburg. A 22-year-old woman from Tilburg has also been arrested.
Around midnight, the police received a report of a threat on Textielstraat. Shots were said to have taken place in the street. Officers soon discovered that the suspect was staying in a hotel on the Hub van Doorneweg. He was arrested there.
The woman stayed with him at the hotel and was also arrested. The man is the main suspect in the case.
The police are continuing to investigate what happened. A man from Biezenmortel has reported threats.
