Mama Hilde asks for more attention for autism

Mama Hilde has been working for and through her children for more than ten years for more recognition of the problem. Not only do Fien and Pieter get all the attention from their mom, Hilde also supports numerous projects to bring ASD and mental health to the attention of (young) adults.

According to calculations, about 8,000 people in West Flanders currently live with an autism spectrum disorder, and more than 80 people are diagnosed with ASD every year.
