…better and better!
The TM database has been enriched by another milestone: The Malta National Amateur Cup, which was founded in 2020, can now be called up with all match reports for the current season. All teams from the 3rd division in Malta take part in the competition, including some teams from the Gozo League.
In this year’s final, Zabbar St. Patrick FC faced Marsaskala FC, in which Zabbar FC prevailed 6-2. Guaranteed victory was winter newcomer David Oliveira, who scored a hat-trick. In addition, FC Marsaskala were outnumbered from the 16th minute after an emergency stop by Shawn Cesare. The top scorer of the tournament was ex-Maltese international Jean Pierre Mifsud Triganza with five goals in four games.
