Five municipalities, including Mook en Middelaar and Beekdaelen, meet the central government’s targets. Venray, Venlo and Weert have accommodated more status holders than necessary. All other Limburg municipalities are lagging behind and do not meet the central government’s targets. Major laggards are Sittard-Geleen, Heerlen, Maastricht, Horst aan de Maas and Eijsden-Margraten.
