There is a major power outage in the municipality of Oss. In the center and the neighborhoods outside it suddenly became dark after the parade, around a quarter to six. As a result, more than 10,000 households are without power in almost 1,500 postal codes. It will probably last until about eight o’clock tonight.
Images of a dark tent in the municipality appear on social media. The parade took place in Oss on Sunday afternoon, so a large number of carnival goers have now entered the cafes. Only now the lights are out.
The reason for the outage is not yet known.
